With great pleasure, I welcome all students, parents and guardians, who have interest in the programmes offered at Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT).
Equator University of Science and Technology was founded under an agreement between the government of the Republic of Uganda through the Ministry of Health and the University of Lahore (UOL), Islamic Republic of Pakistan.
Currently the main campus of the university is located in Masaka city, Kigamba village, Kasijjagirwa Road. The University is planning to set up another campus at Bajja 3 km from Lukaya Town.

The University is operating under the guidance of Uganda National Council for Higher Education (NCHE), offering a wide range of academic programmes accredited by the NCHE and other appropriate professional and regulatory bodies in Uganda.
All processes and functions of EQUSaT are operationalized with efficiency and effectiveness to satisfy our stakeholder and ensuring value for money and quality higher education through teaching, learning, research, innovation and community engagement. The university therefore, offers unique study and work opportunities and environment for the population of Uganda and elsewhere in the East African Region and beyond.
The state of the art technologies and systems together with efficient and effective governance and administrative approaches, qualified and experienced staff make EQUSAT a unique University in Uganda and beyond.

As one of Uganda’s newest private academic institutions, Equator University of Science and Technology offers the following programmes;
1. Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBChB),
2. Bachelor of Dentistry (BDS),
3. Bachelor of Information Technology (BIT)
4. Bachelor Business Administration (BBA).

Plans are under way to introduce more programmes in both sciences and humanities.
