Equator University of Science and Technology has established a research office which is mandated to;

1. Developed a focused research agenda of the University,
2. Co-ordinate, monitor and provide an enabling environment for quality research.
3. Administer all research projects;
4. Advise on research priorities,
5. Work as a bridge between the University and the world of research in identifying research projects,
6. Advise the university on courses that are relevant to the needs of society.
7. Communicate research outputs

The University is committed to prioritizing research as one of the ways through which knowledge can be generated and shared.
