Equator University of Science and Technology has an established research and innovation Office. The University is committed to prioritizing research as one of the ways through which knowledge can be generated and shared through the mandate to:
- Develop a focused research and innovation agenda of the University.
- Co-ordinate, monitor and provide an enabling environment for quality research and innovation.
- Administer all research projects.
- Advise on research and innovation priorities.
- Work as a bridge between the University and the world of research in identifying research and innovation projects.
- Conduct surveys in academics, administration and among the EQUSaT stakeholders to inform the University Council and Board of Trustees for strategic decision making and interventions.
