Masaka, Uganda – May 21, 2025 – Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) is set to host its highly anticipated 3rd Youth Empowerment Program on May 23, 2025, under the theme: “Progressive Minds – Purposeful Future – Lasting Impact.”
This initiative, aimed at nurturing visionary leadership and igniting social responsibility among young people, will take place at the university’s main campus in Masaka, starting at 8:00 AM. The program is being organized in partnership with Helping Hand for Relief and Development(HHRD).
The event will be officially hosted by the Vice Chancellor of EQUSaT, Prof. Mouhamad Mpezamihigo, who is widely recognized for his commitment to empowering youth through education and innovation.
This year’s keynote speakers include:
Ms. Nakkazzi Natasha – an inspiring voice for gender equality and youth development and sustainable
Mr. Mugabi Paul – a motivational speaker and youth advocate focused on innovation and entrepreneurship;
Ms. Nansamba Rukiya – a passionate educator and mentor promoting inclusive learning and empowerment.
The Youth Empowerment Program at EQUSaT continues to be a key platform for grooming visionary leaders committed to transforming their communities.
