Location of EQUSaT

EQUSaT is located along Kasijjagirwa Road, Kasijjagirwa Cell, Masaka City, near Masaka Regional Referral Hospital, Central Uganda. We derive the University name from its proximity to the international Equator line, the invisible line that runs around the centre of the earth at zero degrees latitude. The University is also proximal to very many touristic sites and places of leisure, a beautiful green landscape and a rich agricultural area. Masaka City is clean, peaceful and thrives in diverse businesses and other economic activities.

One of the landmarks of the City is Masaka Regional Referral Hospital (MRRH) with which EQUSaT has a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU). The MOU is a tripartite arrangement signed between MRRH (Ministry of Health of the Republic of Uganda), University of Lahore, Pakistan and EQUSaT. One of the aims of the MOU is to establish a state-of-the-Art Ultra-Modern Diagnostic Centre as part of the expansion of the health services delivery by the MRRH.

Through this partnership, EQUSaT now hosts a modern dental clinic on behalf of the MRRH, as a service delivery unit and training facility covering greater Masaka region and beyond.
