EQUSaT Ranked Among Top 3 Tax-Compliant Institutions in South Western Uganda

Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) has once again demonstrated its commitment to excellence and corporate responsibility by being recognized as one of the top three tax-compliant institutions in Uganda’s South Western Region. This prestigious recognition, awarded by the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA), is a testament to the institution’s unwavering dedication to upholding financial integrity and compliance with national tax regulations.

 

The award ceremony took place at Lake View Resort Hotel, where the recipients were hosted in the presence of distinguished officials. EQUSaT was represented by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Muhammad Mpezamihigo, accompanied by Mr. Kamoga Ibrahim, ICT Officer, and Mr. Kalanzi Umar, Finance Officer.

 

The highlight of the event was a group photo with the Commissioner General of URA, ably represented by Mr. Richard Kariisa, Commissioner for Corporate Services.
