EQUSaT Officially Admits New Students for the 2024 Academic Year

Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) celebrates outstanding achievement of Mugabi Moses, a Bachelor of Information Technology student, who has been named the National Youth Activist Ambassador for youth living with HIV in Uganda (Mr. Y+). The prestigious recognition was awarded during the Mr. Y+ competition, organized by the Uganda Network of People Living with HIV/AIDS (UNYPA).
Mugabi's advocacy focuses on economic empowerment and social inclusion for HIV-positive youth in Uganda. His dedication to creating opportunities and reducing stigma earned him multiple accolades during the competition. In addition to being crowned the Mr. Y+ Ambassador, he also won the titles of Mr. Popularity and Mr. Talent.
As part of his achievement, Mugabi received a full-year scholarship from UNYPA, further enabling him to continue his academic journey while championing the rights and welfare of HIV-positive youth across the country.
This milestone underscores the commitment of EQUSaT to nurturing leaders who drive transformative change in their communities.
