Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) held its inaugural Prof. Mukiibi Run on September 14, 2024. The event was a resounding success and laid the foundation for future runs, which will now be held annually. The chief guest, Dr. Ssebaggala Stephen, who addressed the attendees preparing for the run around Masaka City, called for more such activities and encouraged participants to maintain the same enthusiasm and spirit. The chief runner, Eng. Kasagga Usama, flagged off the race with inspiring words, expressing gratitude to EQUSaT students, staff, and all other participants for their involvement. It was a successful run, with over fifty runners taking on the 10-kilometer route through Masaka City.
