Equator University of Science and Technology (EQUSaT) welcomed visiting students from Masaka Secondary School ( Masaka Sec) to its campus for an educational experience combining a guided campus tour with a study session on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
The visit offered students an opportunity to explore the University's facilities, gain insights into its academic environment and appreciate the role of science, technology and higher education in addressing societal challenges.
During the campus tour, the students were introduced to various learning facilities, including the University's laboratories, providing them with a closer look at the practical learning environment that supports its academic programmes.
The engagement also featured an SDGs study session, exposing the students to the global development agenda and the importance of education, innovation and collective action in achieving sustainable development.
Such educational engagements strengthen the connection between classroom learning and practical experiences while encouraging young people to become informed, responsible contributors to their communities.
Through initiatives that promote knowledge exchange and experiential learning, EQUSaT continues to advance its commitment to enhancing human capacity and contributing to sustainable development.
